What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Reservations Online

When a  booking is made online via this website we collect your Name, Mobile Number and email address (along, of course, with details of when you would love to dine!) This information allows us to process your booking efficiently and to notify you of that reservation. It also helps us provide a more efficient service the next time you book with us. This data and any other information you may divulge when making  a reservation is securely stored on our behalf by our reservations processor. We do not give away this information to anyone nor will it be used for any purpose other than to look after you our customer.

Data Deletion

We retain your data indefinitely for servicing your future bookings but you may, if you wish, request that we delete all data including contact details. To do so please contact us at info@eystonarms.co.uk using the email you booked with or by providing us with other positive identification.

Covid Registrations

We are, from 04 July 2020, required by law to keep a log of all visits to our establishment to include the contact details of each group and the full names of all within that group. We do this task electronically via the link on our website and that information is stored securely on our servers until such time as the government no longer requires to hold those records. This information will only be shared to, if requested,  Government or NHS officials if required for Track and Trace procedures in the event of a Covid infection tracked back to our establishment for a specific date and time. If you wish to dine or drink at our establishment this data must be held by ourselves and we will not serve anyone in a party unless all names of that party have registered with us.

Cookies (please note that these are not prepared in our kitchens!)

When you visit our website we place cookies (small pieces of user information) on your computer or mobile. This data exists solely to allow us to monitor and improve our website and the service it offers to you. This data is not personally identifiable and your use of this website with a browser that has cookies enabled means that you are using this website in that knowledge. All website browsers can disable to storage of cookies but this may well hinder the use of our website.
